The Amer 42 Explorer Even Further, with its steel hull, aluminium superstructure and Ice Class certification, is designed for long-range cruising with a stated range of up to 8,900 nautical miles. Cantiere delle Marche’s Mon Coeur, meanwhile, brings the explorer concept into a more compact 31-metre platform.

Innovation in Efficiency and Yacht Architecture
The latest generation of yachts also shows how shipyards are exploring new approaches to efficiency, layout and onboard architecture. The Azimut Grande 44M, for example, combines an innovative dual-mode hull with a four-deck configuration and a dedicated owner’s deck, while its interior design by m2atelier challenges more conventional yacht layouts.

Performance Remains a Key Part of the Market
While efficiency and cruising capability are becoming increasingly important, performance remains a defining characteristic of the yacht market. The ISA Viper 130 represents the high-performance side of this spectrum, with its sporty design, large exterior entertainment areas and performance-oriented configuration. Its first unit is scheduled to make its debut at Cannes 2026.

A Stronger Connection Between Indoor and Outdoor Living
Another clear theme across several of the new yachts is the continued emphasis on outdoor living and closer interaction with the sea. The Riva 96’ Argo Super introduces a redesigned beach club with a large sunpad integrated into the garage door and an improved swim platform, while the Pershing GTX90 features an expanded stern with two side-opening terraces. The Custom Line Navetta 35 also places strong emphasis on natural light, full-height windows and the connection between interior and exterior spaces.

Turkey’s Growing Presence in the Superyacht Sector
The 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival is also notable for the growing presence of Turkish yachtbuilding on the international superyacht stage. ORION ONE, the first superyacht constructed by Orion Yachts, and Sirena 118, Sirena Yachts’ new 36-metre flagship, represent two distinct approaches to large-yacht construction. ORION ONE combines a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure, while the Sirena 118 is an all-GRP yacht built around a fast-displacement hull.

A Diverse Picture of the Next Generation of Yachts
From long-range explorer yachts and large four-deck superyachts to high-performance models and new flybridge designs, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 offers a broad view of where the industry is heading. The yachts making their debut this year demonstrate that contemporary yacht development is increasingly focused on combining comfort, flexible layouts, outdoor living, performance, efficiency and new approaches to onboard design.
For visitors and industry professionals alike, Cannes 2026 will therefore provide an opportunity to see not only the latest new yachts, but also the design philosophies and technical solutions that are shaping the next generation of luxury yachting.

https://www.facebook.com/ABCYACHT

https://www.linkedin.com/company/abcyacht/

https://www.instagram.com/abcyacht/

From the 43.8m ORION ONE to the new Azimut Grande 44M, these are the yacht debuts to watch in Cannes The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, taking place from 8 to 13 September, is set to bring a remarkable selection of new yachts to the French Riviera.Held across Vieux Port and Port Canto, the festival remains […]

[1
